The Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is fluid and changing every day in the United States and abroad. Given the uncertainty surrounding the outbreak, APPAM and University of California, Riverside leadership feels that it’s prudent to cancel the APPAM California Regional Student Conference on Monday, April 6. Our teams, like many of you, have been eagerly anticipating and preparing for this year’s conference; however, the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees is our highest priority. In addition to safety, many universities are cancelling in-person classes and not allowing domestic travel for students and faculty, so the conference would not be feasible for many participants. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this year’s California Regional Student Conference and we thank you for your continued support – we hope to see you soon.
Conference registration will be automatically reimbursed within the next ten business days. Please direct all registration questions to Ryan Martz, registration@appam.org. Any other questions about the conference cancellation should be directed to Samantha Oliver Thomason, soliver@appam.org.
