Here's all the information you need to travel and stay in Miami for this year's Fall Conference! Sessions at the 2015 Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Miami.

Hotel Information

Please note that all Fall Research Conference sessions and events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Miami, 400 South East Second Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33131-219, (305) 358-1234.

The APPAM room block at the Hyatt Regency Miami and the overflow blocks at the Courtyard Miami Downtown and Viceroy Miami are sold out.

We have put together a map of local hotels near the Hyatt Regency Miami that as of October 1 have available rooms. APPAM has not contracted rooms at these hotels. Please contact them directly for room reservations.

As a reminder, if you need to change your hotel reservation at the Hyatt Regency Miami, Courtyard Miami Downtown or the Viceroy Miami, you'll need to contact the hotel directly.

Air Travel

The Hyatt Regency Miami, Courtyard Miami Downtown and Viceroy Miami are only 7.6 miles (16 minutes) from Miami International Airport (MIA). United, Delta and the other major carriers fly into MIA.

Ground Transportation

Rental Cars

The major rental car companies Avis, Hertz, Alamo, etc. can be found at the Miami Rental Car Center.

Shuttles & Taxi Information

Taxicabs and the SuperShuttle are located at the lower arrival level. Taxicabs and SuperShuttle (305-871-2000) vans are available only on the arrival (ground) level of the airport, outside of the baggage claim areas.

Rail Service

The Metrorail system operates from 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. It provides service to Miami International Airport (MIA) and runs from Kendall through South Miami, Coral Gables, and downtown Miami; to the Civic Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital area; and to Brownsville, Liberty City, Hialeah, and Medley in northwest Miami-Dade, with connections to Broward and Palm Beach counties at the Tri-Rail/Metrorail transfer station.

The Metromover connects with Metrorail at Government Center and Brickell stations and with Metrobus at various locations throughout downtown. You can take Metromover (Knight Center station) to get to the Hyatt Regency Miami and Courtyard Miami Downtown. The station is connected to the Hyatt Regency property.
