APPAM uses a lottery system for our most popular limited-quantity items. The 2025 lottery will open on Wednesday, April TBD at 12 PM and closes Friday, April TBD at 12 PM US Eastern Time. If a limited quantity item has multiple orders during this window, it will automatically enter our lottery. No sponsorship orders will be processed or confirmed until the lottery closes on Friday, so sponsors have the opportunity to adjust their order based on the results. After that time, all remaining sponsorships will be on a first come, first served basis while spots last. Items with an asterisk (*) below are likely lottery items based on past popularity.
There will be three different general sponsor levels and recognition will be given to each sponsor in marketing materials, onsite at the conference, and on APPAM.org. This is a great opportunity to highlight your program or institution in front of 2,500 potential students and employees.
APPAM reserves the right to substitute benefits included in the packages below depending on availability. All substitutions will be of equal value.

Mobile App – The Mobile App is the most up-to-date way to access conference information while at the conference. All sponsors and exhibitors will be recognized through the Sponsors & Exhibitors section of the map, in addition to rotating home page banner ads and static policy area banner ads.

Online Program Advertisements – Banner or full tower ads placed on either the Landing (home page), Interior Pages, or Session Listings by Policy Area Pages of the Online Program.

Registration Advertisements - Half tower (square) ads are available for placement in the online registration system. There will be one ad per registrant/page refresh.

Profile Feature – General sponsors are asked to complete a form that answers key questions about their organization for an APPAM news article to be written by our communications team. Articles will be posted throughout the summer & fall on APPAM News and promoted on social media.

Add your organization's logo to the APPAM water bottles! Reusable bottles are placed throughout the APPAM conference space near water coolers for easy access for attendees. These are the most popular branded item for both sponsors and attendees alike. Not only do attendees use the bottles throughout the event, but they take them home as conference souvenirs. Because of their popularity, the water bottles tend to run out on day two so this is a great opportunity to get your logo in the hands of thousands of APPAM attendees.

Your organization’s logo will appear on the splash page and a permanent banner in the conference mobile app, as well as on various signage around the conference. Your organization's logo will appear on the right sleeve of a fleece, promoted on social media, and at the APPAM Central booth during the daily games and giveaways. Attendees lined up for these limited edition prizes last year so we're getting sponsors in on the fun with high quality, co-branded products. 150 fleeces will be ordered, promoted & used for select giveaways throughout the show. Sponsors are encouraged to join us at APPAM Central booth to mingle with attendees during select game times.

Your organization's logo will appear on one side of a stainless steel tumbler cup, promoted on social media, and featured at the APPAM Central booth during our daily games and giveaways. Place your organization’s logo on signage for the APPAM Communities Lounge near the Exhibit Hall! This popular lounge provides a comfortable space for conference attendees to network and discuss issues and research that are important to them. You can see 2024 Communities here, for reference. Dependent Care Grants – Starting at $1,750
APPAM Dependent Care Grant program offers policy students and young professionals grants of up to $400 each to help cover expenses for additional at-home or on-site dependent care. Your organization's support of this program would support the participation for those who may not be able to attend otherwise! There is room for five sponsors or one sole sponsor.

APPAM is pleased to host the eighth cohort of Equity and Inclusion fellows at the #2025APPAM conference this November. The fellowship recognizes students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds for their accomplishments and bright futures in the public policy world.
Equity & Inclusion Fellowship Lunch* – Starting at $6,000
The fellowship lunch honors the 2025 fellows alongside APPAM leadership, sponsors, and past fellows, in addition to a keynote address. Lunch sponsors will have their organization featured at the event in signage, all conference materials, and in APPAM leadership welcome remarks. If there is a sole lunch sponsor, they're invited to give brief remarks. If the lunch or fellowship is a shared sponsorship, remarks will not be given due to timing constraints. This event is non-exclusive and may be sponsored by up to three organizations.

Equity & Inclusion Fellowship Meet-Up* – Starting at $6,000
APPAM fellows are invited to a casual reception to meet their peers and grow their networks. Sponsors will be recognized on signage and will be invited to give brief welcome remarks before allowing past and current fellows to mix and mingle. A fellowship premier partners/sponsor will have limited invitations to this event. This event is non-exclusive and may be sponsored by up to two organizations.

APPAM has four unique platforms for digital advertisements this fall. All digital ads have a redirect link to a website of the sponsor's choosing. APPAM no longer offers a printed program or pocket guide. Attendee's will solely rely on the Online Program, APPAM website, and mobile app for planning their conference experience.
- Online Program - NEW in 2025! APPAM has switched to All-Academic for our submissions & online program platform. It will be used by attendees to plan their conference experience - such as find session & speaker details, explore networking opportunities, and download session papers/handouts. Ad details will be available in spring 2025.
- Registration System - APPAM uses MemberClicks for conference registration and there will be one randomized registration sponsor ad per location per form. Ad artwork is due in early summer.
- Mobile app - The annual conference mobile app launches a few weeks prior to the start of the conference and is the number one way attendees get around the conference. There are opportunities for a home page rotating banner ad and a permanent (sole) policy area banner ad, in addition to the overall sponsor. Ad artwork is due in late summer.

Exhibits
The APPAM Exhibit Hall has long been the meeting, networking, and refreshment spot for attendees. Various special events are hosted inside of the Exhibit Hall, such as registration, a poster reception, a poster luncheon, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, the headshot lounge, and much more.
APPAM booths come with back and side drape, one to two draped six-foot tables, two chairs, and a small ID sign. Exhibit booths should be staffed throughout the open exhibit hall hours.
Participating in the APPAM Career & PhD Program Fair on Friday, November 14? Exhibitors are eligible for a complimentary table at the fair.

Affiliate Receptions
APPAM Institutional Members are invited to host a reception during the conference utilizing complimentary APPAM meeting space in the hotel. APPAM will assign space based on expected attendance and order of request. Organizations will arrange room set up, catering, AV, and direct billing/payment with the hotel. New in 2025! Affiliates can host on Thursday, November 13 and Friday, November 14 immediately following APPAM programming - dates are assigned based on requested room size and on a first come, first served basis. Space will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. The affiliate reception requests will take place in spring 2025.
Career & PhD Program Fair
The Career & PhD Program Fair will take place on Friday, November 14 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Exhibitors are eligible for a complimentary fair table to meet with interested students and job seekers during this two-hour event. Not exhibiting this year? Institutional members receive discounted fair table rates. Tables will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. The dedicated event website and table reservations will open in spring 2025.
Interview Space
APPAM is pleased to offer complimentary private interview space to our members this November. Rooms can be reserved in one-hour increments, for a maximum of three total hours, from Thursday, November 13 – Saturday, November 15. Space will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. The interview space request form will open in late spring 2025.
